Middletown Hallway with Standing Water Damage
As seen in the Before Photo, SERVPRO techs arrived at this Middletown property and found a good deal of standing water in a hallway and an adjacent room. The techs were dealing with two types of flooring, hardwood and ceramic tile. After extraction of the water in both rooms, the techs used their moisture detection equipment to determine if seepage had happened in either area. The ceramic tile kept a watertight seal however the floorboards required removal to dry the subfloor underneath. Also the wall beside the wood flooring needed a small amount of controlled demo on the sheetrock that wicked moisture in order to dry the interior wall cavities as seen in the After Photo.
